Magical beings are divided into 3 qualities (be it naturally magical beings, like faeries and angels, to human, goblin or elf casters):
In general any magician is called Egoists.
Grafter: Beings that alter their ego almost at will absorbing other properties or changing their own depending on their needs, in such cases someone might gain the ability to fly by altering their ego tainting it with the concept of clouds or wind, or similar qualities that might even give them an aloof personality. Though big alterations are not only dangerous but also difficult not everyone call alter their ego to such levels. at most they can do things like make their skin harder by grafting the Essence of steal or rock with their ego.
Empaths: these beings have had their ego altered by someone else or by their ambient. Were a strong essence penetrates the soul and stains the ego, most common in spirits, or divine beings, such beings are able to command or control the essence itself which they have attuned to as well as project thing it. The way it is understood these beings have an affinity to the essence their ego has bein stained by and have a certain control over the aspects of it. Such has caused legends were beings bound to concepts like gravity have altered the region permanently, where we can find some waterfall running in reverse to places of sudden flattened earth. Different from grafter they cannot change their essence, most of it has already become an intrinsic mix bound to the essence their ego is bound to, and similar to projectors they can affect other things that shares quantities with their ego to even project it by itself. Empaths have the risk of not only overriding their Ego with a pure essence, but also the opposite, over spending their ego leaving their vessel empty.
Projectors or Egomaniacs: Opposed to empaths projectors don’t necessary stain their ego, most projectors have found a way to use their own ego to alters the outer essence, though straining this could shatter the soul and destroy the ego, or risk it from being altered, Projectors push their will into other things or begins, in a way their unique purities of their essence tries to resonates and takes over the wild essences. This is what had guided some to believe that the what most call essence is really loose egos that broke out from the soul, or that souls are not unique with non living beings possessing similar qualities that bind them to egos on different proportions, or even brough in the idea of the Oneness. They are the most versatile, as even a projector with what some would call a pure ego, could turn a torch in their hand into a flame thrower, Their control is more limited to what they have at hand.
Some can have multiple qualities, and some beings have the abilities to alter another ego, though such beings are rarely heard of and in most cases when someone wants to alters someone’s else ego they go through more natural means, or an empath that has gone through Realization, The ego slowly adapts to an strong abundance of an essence.
