Aldemoor
Main Deity: Auln
Nested between rolling hills, at the edge of the The Silverlight Forest, the city of Aldemoor sits as a popular destination for travelers, with roads that lead to larger cities and remote villages, its small streets busting with carts roaming along it’s surprisingly busy market district, from one side to the other.
Aldermoor The town is divided into four main districts:
- Market District: The heart of the town, where trade and commerce thrive. The marketplace is always buzzing with activity, and there are permanent shops for clothing, and a few magical goods, weapons, and general supplies. A central fountain stands in the middle, often used as a meeting point for locals and travelers alike.
- Residential District: This district features narrow cobblestone streets and tightly packed homes made from timber and stone. Some houses have thatched roofs, while wealthier residences closer to the market square boast tiled roofs and small gardens.
- Craftsman District: This area is home to blacksmiths, leatherworkers, carpenters, and other skilled artisans. The air here is often filled with the sound of hammers and saws, and the smell of smoke from the forges. The blacksmith’s forge is particularly popular for travelers in need of weapon repairs or armor adjustments.
- Temple District: At the edge of the town lies a small hill where the town’s temples and shrines are located. The largest structure is a stone temple dedicated to the goddess of harvest Auln, serving as a place of worship and town meetings. Smaller shrines line the streets, where people offer prayers for travel, health, and protection.
